It is with great honour and immense pleasure that I welcome everyone to the Johor Surgical Conference 2024, with the theme "Achieving Standards". It gives me great gratification to see the convergence of brilliant minds, dedicated professionals and passionate individuals at our Biennial event. Let us embark on a journey to not only uphold existing benchmarks but to surpass them, in an ever evolving, and rapidly developing field of surgery. Ultimately it is our hope to set new standards that redefine the landscape of surgical practice and patient care in our beloved nation.
